BMC removes fire engine stationed inside Priyadarshini Park

After Bombay High Court order, the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) removed the fire engine stationed inside the South Mumbai’s Priyadarshini Park. Although the resident are overwhelmed with the court’s order, the damaged caused to the walking and jogging tracks made them upset. A bench of judges also ordered the BMC to remove the temporary fire shed inside the park and to restore the jogging and walking tracks there to their original condition. The court’s order came after a committee, which included a member of the Maharashtra State Legal Services Authority, and the High Court Receiver, inspected the park and submitted a report before the High Court.
